Just purchased a Hollywood Heat at a bargain.

It was sold as a lights only eorking machine. I reset all the socket chips and checked all the connectors.

It now functions and plays a game but has no score.

When I first started it back up; it would show the ball in play and some random bits of a score. Then I unplugged the scoreboard and plugged it back in (without turnig off the machine) and now I got nothing.

I think I mad a small fix a big one.

Read pinrepair.com and didn't find anything.

I did find this??

It is a system 80b just to clarify.

I have tried to reseat all the edge connectors and I did get some numbers to show up on both screens on one of several power ups. I do not think it is th screen itslef even though the cap I pictured looks burnt to a degree.

One word of advice.... Never, ever unplug or reconnect connectors while the game is *on*!

Yup,....I'd start at the power supply for proper voltages.....then figure out if you messed up the MPU board, display board, or BOTH!
