I have a set of Namco Recoil Guns, the solenoids are fried but I have taken the mech apart and using spacers I could easily fit a different solenoid in that runs on whatever voltage/amperage I want to feed it.
At first, I want to rig the trigger pull to fire the solenoid every time for every game. Then as I learn I want to get the games that have a recoil built in working off of their correct circuits (i.e. point blank)
and what are the odds I'd be mostly finished if I hook up a power supply and replace the "button switch" on the board with an opto-isolator wired to close on the game's trigger circuit (jamma button circuit).
