I recently got a Gottlieb Sing Along. In the process of cleaning it up I ordered a new ball for it, 1 1/16" as is called for. Turns out the ball the game had been using for years was larger and heavier. Not sure why that is, but now with the new ball the 4 in line kick out holes aren't working. I figured out how to adjust the trajectory of the new ball by bending the arm that actually ejects the ball, but the ball gets to the next kick out hole too quickly and hits the raised arm in the next hole before it has a chance to retract. Any idea what could be causing this issue and/or how to fix it? New springs on the mechanism maybe to get it to retract quicker? Also, side question - why would the previous owner put a larger than stock ball in the game?
