There was an auction in Plymouth Indiana on June 17th and I was the underbidder on the Reactor.
It was sold to an absentee bidder and sometime between the auction and when the buyer came to pick it up on the 20th the PCB was stolen. The buyer bought the cabinet off the owners, but at a lower price obviously. I don't know the serial number.
I got a call from the auctioneer and so I thought I'd give everybody a heads-up.

Some nice items in that auction. I hope they find it. Sounds like an Inside job or someone that picked up others arcades from there.

Grrr. That's shitty.

The Reactor was the only thing at that auction I was really interested in. Did you end up buying anything?

Bought the Ikari Warriors, turns out it's a converted Space Fury Cabinet, but nothing remains of the original game aside from the cabinet itself. The other games didn't go for a lot, but weren't really worth dealing with for me.

I bid up the Reactor to $2000, there was no buyer's premium or sales tax.

Holy hell, 2 grand didn't win the Reactor?

I mean, it's a super fun game, but >2k would be instant buyer's remorse for most of us. Even worse with the PCB ganked.

I would hesitate to ever place a remote bid after hearing this story. Thanks for the heads-up!
