Very new to this hobby and searching for some advice on a good place to purchase parts for a Gottlieb Pro Football that I recently picked up. The machine is in need of some cosmetic touch ups and I'm lost at where to start with restoring the outside of this cool machine.

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

- Archie

The Pinball Resource has tons of Gottlieb parts...

(You may need to call on the phone, I don't know if he actually checks email.)

When you call, get yourself a manual and schematic ( if you don't already have them). He sells originals if he has them, or good-quality reprints. You'll need them eventually.

As for the cabinet, I'd say getting it clean is the best place to start. Touchups to the paint can be done with care... complete re-paints usually look terrible.

Post photos here if you'd like further input. And welcome to the world of vintage coin-op!

Thank you! I appreciate it!

Even if the game "works" it probably isn't working 100%. And you will need some repair knowledge someday if not sooner. So in case you don't already know, you should know about the EM pin repair guide at: http://www.pinrepair.com/em/index1.htm

And he has a ton of other restoration resources mostly for EM pins at the main page:
Thank you! I appreciate the knowledge.
