pinball pool is in my home!now what? forgive me,im new at this. it lights up but does not reset. any sugestions are welcome.

find the battery on the CPU
look and see and hope that it didnt leak its innards onto the PCB and ruined it
some, leak so bad, it eats into the wiring connection and onto the driver board beneath it, ruining that too

could be a voltage from the power supply isnt what it needs to be to run the PCB

Gottliebs are notorious for having ground problems and that could be your main problem

Your board looks pretty clean, the battery is on the bottom of the MPU. It is white with a red and black wire on each side.

If it is poweringon and nothing else,

I would recommend you start with all ground modifications and repinning all edge connectors. GTB Sys 1 games can usually be cleared up with these modifications and fixes. Also, you need to replace the 4700 mfd filter cap on the psu.

All of those fixes are mandatory for having a working GTB sys 1 game. If anything else happens, then you can start troubleshooting. You must do the ground mods/ connector repinning/ cap replacement at minimum. There is no way around it.
