Got an offer on the table for one right now, the guy is sending me some PF pics to go over. It's been played by kids, it's been in a youth ministry gameroom for a few years according to the seller. He knows for sure one (Is there more than one) of the shaker motors needs "adjustment" as he put it... I expect it to be on the bottom of the cabinet LOL. Says the PF has some wear, but not bad.

Now, average selling price is 750... I offered 500$ sight unseen, but he didn't immediately accept, so I know he wants more...question is, does anyone think this machine is worth it? I've watched the gameplay and everything seems alright to me, a decent "starter" DMD, but probably one I will dump in a few months/year or so to make room for something else better, after fixing it.

At 750, I don't really see getting my money back out of it after shopping it...that will be a hard sell, I think.

You won't see your money back out of it if you pay $750 and it has noticeable PF wear, and anything less than minor that needs replaced. It's an $800-$900 game in really good working condition.

I think $500 is a fair offer if he says there's PF wear and shaker motor isn't working...chances are there's more not right that he isn't aware of. I'd probably still bite at $600...but not site unseen. Go look at it.

You change your username? Lol.

I'd love to go look at it, but I'm trying to bust 30 hours of OT this week and that's non-negotiable unless he wants to hold it for two days. I'm willing to give up 4 hours on friday, but that's really about it. I will work super late if I can get something worked out with him to look at it tomorrow..

It's about 60 miles away, so not really too convienient to go look at offhand. Plus, it's on the other side of downtown. Dunno if you're familiar with Dallas traffic, but if I'm going to look at that before work tomrrow, I do NOT want to get stuck in traffic and be late to work, LOL!

I love the game. I kept mine for a pretty long time considering. That said, I had a hard time getting much for it. Mine was HUO (literally perfect) and I could barely get $900 for it.

One of Gottlieb's Best DMD games IMO.

Well...wouldn't you know.

He got back to me with pictures. It looks NICE. Dirty, but nice. Looks like it will clean right up with not much effort. Cabinet has zero fade from what I can tell. Looks really nice. So I was going to email him back on break..

I get a call on my cell phone. What the hell... Wisconcin? I don't know anyone there, what the hell is this call? Hello? What? Really? 800$. HELL YES.

It was a callback from a Mr. Pinball wanted ad I placed for Space Station. I talked to the guy for 15 min, and he's willing to ship and has shipped before. That price is in the range I want, and with shipping is still okay by me... the only other one I saw that I could actually pin a price on was 1400$.

Gladiator can go jump in a lake. If there's even a REMOTE chance I can get a Space Station in good condition for 1100$, I am more than willing to pass up a moderately decent deal to get it. :|

Okay, I'll give you $550 for your Gladiators.

It's not mine, I was trying to buy it for 500$, lol.

He wants 750 for it. :p

I think it's odd that he's trying to sell it with a Race Drivin' partial sitdown (It's got a stool thing attached to the regular sized cab? Wierd.) for 850, so he's expecting that's only worth 100$.
