Currently working on a genesis and I am having an issue with the #67 lights(except for 4 in backbox) and under the playfield not working when the relay is triggered. The motorized cover for the figure below the playfield does not work during gameplay either. However, when you ground Q13, the motor rotates and returns to zero position. Just getting started on this, but I assume that the lights and the motor come on at the same time? Can anyone with a genesis confirm the sequence on this? Anyone have an idea where to start checking?

Can you play with the switch on the motor to get it to run during test mode? I just did this with mine, they seem very picky...as far as the lights, they should run independant of the motor on test if I remember

I wanna say during the lamp/soldenoid test, the lights underneath light up once and then the motor starts to turn. Would have to check to make sure.

I ran the lamp/solenoid test and the motor cover will turn, but I'm only getting 4 of the backbox lights to flash and none of the playfield window lights will. Could there be problems with the aux. lamp driver? BTW all bulbs are new.

Have you did the ground mods on this game? I know on mine, the motor for the robot would fire up randomly and had some flasher issues. Since the mods, everything has been working good, fingers crossed!

I did the ground mods that were left to do when I got mine, and my slings were not working great and now they are, that might just be an issue there, let us know how it progresses

Didn't have much time last night, but did do the transformer ground connector to ring terminal connector mod though nothing changed. I will try to do the board grounds tonight and see if anything changes.

In all honesty I haven't done any transformer mods on mine and didn't have any issues. It was the mods for the Power Supply and the MPU ones I was concerned about....

Edit: I did reflow the solder on the pads where the connectors plug into from the transformer.....

Update: I ran a ground for the cpu, driver and ps. The the motorized cover works in test mode and during game play. I did find the problem with the lower playfield lights not lighting. Apparently, one of the 2 switches on the light relay does not have the 27 v. I ran a jumper from the other switch to it and had lights. However, like the backbox, only half of the lights would light, some would flicker and the rest not at all. I am assuming that the problem lies in the aux lamp board?
