I restored a Sweet Sioux about 35 years ago. It's not seen much play the last few years and has developed some problems, most of which I've tracked down to corroded contacts, fried solenoids, etc. The one thing I can't get to work correctly is the balls-played stepper unit. It's a four-player machine and when set to one player, each drained ball should move the stepper four steps, but it consistently moves three. If I manually trip the trough switch, it moves one more. I've cleaned the contacts on all of the switches on the scoring motor and the 2nd, 3rd and 4th player relays. I must have gotten close, because when I started tuning the maching up, each ball on one-player would only move the stepper one unit. Any ideas?
