I got a Gottlieb 300 I'm doing a flipper rebuild on. the left flipper just seems weak. I tried it out with a few various parts but seems like it's still weak so I've go to do the entire thing to be satisfied and if it still doesn't work then I'll just get another coil.

Anyhow got a question about these rivets. How do you get them out and put them back in? Or do you put them back? Do you use something else instead. Need to switch the new armature in there.

Those aren't rivits, they are roll pins and you can remove them with a hammer and a punch, or the right size nail.

Thanks just finished rebuilding the flipper on the left side. It's still weak. The coils look brand new so not sure where to go from here. Thought about switching em to see if that makes any difference.

Pinball Resource sells A-5141 "hot" flipper coils. They got more balls than the reg A-5141 coils & since there are no drop targets on "300" you should be fine. I`d also suggest putting your pin on high tap.

On most Gottlieb em pinballs the transformer has leads coming off where you can unsolder the wires & re-solder them onto the high tap leads. Look at the paper label on the side of the transformer for info. Obviously DO NOT touch the transformer with the game plugged in\on.
