So I was thinking earlier today, people talk about adding the subwoofers to their pins and stuff, and I'm like....wait a sec, don't I HAVE a subwoofer from my surround sound system that I disconnected when my wife moved in?

Yep, that's the one. I don't remember what I paid for it, but I spent an assload on a HDTV and these speakers and a reciever waaaaaay before it was hip to do so. There was no HDTV content on TV, no HD-DVD, no Blu-Ray.....only the Xbox and 720p and my computer with a VGA out....
Anyways...I dig out the subwoofer. Can't find the speaker wire ANYWHERE...think it got tossed. =\ So...ghetto time! Get my test leads. Clip them to the woofer in the cabinet. Get some 16 ga stranded copper wire I bought to make my CRT discharge tool with. Cut it, strip it, clip the alligator clip to one in, run the other end out under the woofer and out the STTNG cabinet to the screw terminals on the sub.
Works great. This particluar sub has a pretty bug adjustable range of how powerful it is and where it picks up. Got it adjusted, sounds pretty dang nice. Looking foward to getting the Space Shuttle playfield swap done and using it for that too.
