Well I picked up a Gotlieb Strike and Spares pretty cheap and fixed her up.
Here is what I did.

It had some water damage to the top of the game, playfield was had lights out and was dirty, the legs were surface rusted. Some of the plywood had started to split from the moisture / water.

So item number 1
Fix the splitting plywood

I removed the t-moulding
Got my trusty needle and syringe filled with a small amount of wood glue, injected the splitting layers and clamped it over night, It's holding nice a strong, and cleaned up great.

Now for the water damage

I sanded the bubbling paint and wood off, and then prepped it for painting.
I taped off the head's side art and the hinge, covered the rest of the game with a moving blanket, and some newspaper for the over spray.

Spray Painted with rustoleum satin black thinned with acetone 2 to 1 and a small preval powercell paint system. Great for small jobs like this.

Looks great! I loved this game on the gottlieb collection for the psp. I think I would rather this then a shuffle alley since A. this is smaller and B. I think the flippers are more skillful then throwing a puck. Have fun with it!

Looks great. I played one of those at a gameroom show. Would have loved to get it, but didn't have the money. Looks like a good game to play with frienda and beers.
