Game is in pretty damn good shape. You can see where the water damage was, the guy replaced the wood (pretty well I might add). It appears that this machine never had side art. The wife has owned it since 1984 or 1985.

The glass bezel looks like it's straight off the factory line, not a scratch.
The manauls were never opened.
lots of pics to follow here.
Haven't plugged it in yet.

edit:
In the NOS manual there was some atari coin door stickers, in perfect shape.

Most fast freddies are woodgrain, some of those have sideart decals similar to the atari mini sideart.. Only a handful are full screened sideart. Either way, cool rare game.. not the most fun ever, but cool still.

well I unplugged the main pcb, and tested voltages, and I was getting nothing on the +22 and -22. So I pulled the power board and found 1 pin almost solder free.
So I go and reflow every connector pin on the board.

Plug the power board back in and I get roughly +23 and -23, can't remember exactly.
So cool, got that part figured out. No wonder it wouldn't power up.

Anyway I hook the main pcb back up and I just get a white scrolling screen.
No coin up, nothing else.

Guess I need to move to the repair thread, but I would love a little advice if someone has it before I start a repair thread.

clean game though, I gotta tell ya.

Ok well I went back out there, and started messing around.

I saw a reset button on the pcb, so I powered that bitch up and hit reset and BOOM, it's working!!!!!!!!!!

And the sound problem they spoke of in the auction was taken care of by turning the volume up, lololololololol.

She's 100%

Awesome!!! Cab looks great.

Post a video of the gameplay if you can. Cool beans! Nice score.

you sure he replaced the wood? Looks like he just cut off the side laminate. Maybe he put some reinfrocement in the base to keep the bottom from falling out. Still it was a killer deal.. Hope you like the game.

Cool that it was an easy fix. I picked up a centipede yesterday and it was reseat the chips and its working fine.

Wow what a find ! Is this game in Mame ? I couldn't find it . Lets see some gameplay video .

He had replaced the spots with the wood with his own laminate.

Near the top I don't think he replaced it.
Near the bottom he said there was 6" of water damage.
It appears that the entire bottom of the cab is brand new wood.

cool if I ever get some free time I wanna come over and play it. Heck if I like it I might want to buy it when you're ready to sell it.

Cool find...hey those round keys likely went to the original locks likely removed from that machine..I PM'd you..I'd like to try those sets on my game...some of these games were keyed alike so they might work on the original lock I have on my fast freddie ....I sent you PM.

Here's shot of mine...
