Got some new "wall art" for the garagecade

Yeah breaking decks hurt :( Hard to come up with another 80-100 on my budget those days. Picking stones out of one's chest didn't feel that good but it was better than coming up with the cash.

I'm trying to remember the deck I had after that.. It was something about a saw blade? The edges were shaped like saw teeth. That deck was so nice.. you could get a really nice hand hold on it anywhere due to the shape. Anyone know? It was mainly white... I don't remember too much else about it. I broke it on a ridiculously high street ramp we had stashed by a tennis court in the bushes :)

Sounds like a Schmidt Stix Ripsaw. ;)

Nice collection you have there Chris. I have about 50 decks in my collection mostly reissues I skated alot when I was a kid and wanted quite a few decks but my parents really couldn't afford them back in the day so I been tracking down my favorite ones.

Sweet! I've been thinking of using my freestyle boards that I've kept as some sort of art, would be even better with some arcade cabs under it. You need nose and tail skids on those boards backtothe80s. ;)

Speaking of Cabs, I wore my Half Cab Pros to work today. And I skated my blue Kevin Harris re-issue like crazy when it came out. Too much fun, but the only trucks that fit them are either old Trackers or old Indy's. I have some classic Indy's myself, but I moved those to one of my more recent freestyle decks that I designed to be very similar to the old Mountie.

And did I mention that I totally have been to Kevin Harris' house? He lives just outside of Vancouver don'tcha know? Ridiculously cool guy with a large house, horses, and big skating slab that doubles as a tennis/basketball court. He's responsible for some skating companies up north.

That Jeff Grosso deck brings back memory's had one as a kid. I have a few reissue decks for my arcade.

yeah, its funny how many of us were skate rats back in the day. skating was always fun with all the neighborhood kids, as well as using my skateboard as a means of transportation. skate to the bowling alley, skate to thriftys for ice cream (chocalate malted crunch), skate to chuck e cheese, skate to the liquor store to play games.

stayjacked.... post some pics of your boards!

and any other klovers with decks, post yer pics :)

Thanks Chris! Yeah the GROSSO deck is a reissue made by a company called Cease and Desis and it was limited to only 50 copy's this deck is #8. They also made a really cool Randy Colvin world Indusries black velvet flocking deck that's the same material you see in 70's velvet posters and it glows in UV light ,it's a sick looking deck and had to have it. It was also limited to 10 copies mine is #8 also.
