My neighbor gave me his old tv test equipment. Ancient heath 5 mhz scope and a bunch of tube adapters. Pretty cool for free since apparently I cannot afford to buy anything.

Tube adapters? Interesting. How do they work exactly? Any documentation with it?

Yeah, I was hoping someone would know something about those but I guess I could ask my neighbor. He might have some docs for the stuff I'll have to check. They look like extensions for many tube types to plug them into a test unit I would assume.

That would make sense. For some reason I was thinking it was an adapter to hook up a CR-23 neckboard to a CR-31 neck.

I guess they're basically the same as rejuvenator adapters for different tube types.

Still a cool find, and I grab too...

Yeah, I bet you're right, I'll have to ask him if he has the rejuvenator to go with those. I just asked him if he had probes for the scope and he gave me a big bag of crap and told me to toss whatever I didn't want. None of it looked like anything I would just toss out. :)

Very cool. Free tools are always the best.

And if you can score a free rejuvenator, that's a nice bonus, for sure.

Best free tool I've ever got was a weller soldering station with a digital readout... still very nice, however
