Went to Atlanta to pick up a beautiful back glass for my Paragon, and ended up buying a Maverick for a great price. Supposedly it works, but the power supply board was removed for another game , Baywatch, that he sold and needed a power supply at the last minute. Cosmetically, it is almost perfect. Needs cleaned probably and some bulbs, but great other than the missing power supply board. The part number is 520-5047-03. I am having trouble locating it on the Internet. I see all kinds of 520-5047-02 ones, but I don't think they are interchangeable. Anyone got one? I will post in the wanted section. He also said the dMD worried perfectly. hopefully!!!! Should be a great looking pin with a new power supply!!! Any tips, please let me know.

so your the guy he pulled the ebay auction for!!!!!!!

first let me say congrats to you!!!!!!

that op waited until hours were left and yanked it!, total dick move as it was getting bids!

ok......so congrats!!!! i have one and im restoring it its a fun pin, i hope your dmd is working right because its 475!!!!!!!, i got lucky not one dot out.....

if you dont mind me asking what did he sell it to you for?

He didn't pull it off ebay for me, because I had seen it before, then it was off. He said the bids weren't high enough and he was worried it would sell for less then what he had in it. Maybe that's why you set a reserve? I asked him the same thing!!!! I got it for 500, I don't know if that's a great deal or not. I just liked the theme... Not necessarily the movie, just the poker and wild west. I too hope the dmd works. If not, I will be calling Fernando back and getting it replaced because he said it worked perfectly. Still waiting on a couple sources about the power supply.

you got maverick (supposedly working 100% after the power supply) from fernando for $500??? i've bought two pins from fernando and i think he's a very nice guy.......but in my experience, the only thing he's letting go for $500 is a project.

good luck. if it is indeed fully working once you power it up, $500 is a steal IMO.

i agree, IF its working corectly 500 is a STEAL but if the dmd is flawed....YOUR screwed!

there is only 4 games with that large dmd maverick was the first!, dont forget pics

Couple quick pictures. I already installed new locks and painted all the legs with hammered metal black. Now, waiting on parts, mainly the power supply board. I am also sourcing a lockdown bar, a rollover switch, rubber kit, and a gaggle of lightbulbs. I plan on repainting the coindoor and lockdown bar in the same hammered metal finish that I did the legs in.

I have looked the game over quite extensively and really think that it only needs a power supply to work. Hopefully Im not jinxing myself, but it all looks pretty good, very dirty, but functionally great. Honestly doesnt look like its been played much at all, from the looks of the wear and moveable parts.

I'd see if he still has the PS board from the baywatch. It may need a rebuild, but any of those things can be made to work again. I would assume they are a direct swap since the maverick PS worked for the baywatch.

Good luck. I love that movie.

I thought that had a "different" (and even more expensive) oversized display :)
I've never actually seen one in the flesh.

Edward

I've played it. Almost bought one actually. As far as I know it's the same display but I would want to confirm that before buying one.

It does for those games... I hope for your sake that is all that game needs. I have heard way to many horror stories about Fernando to buy something from him that costs more than 100.00.
