Got myself a new toy tonight.

Let me know when you're ready to trade, ill bring my dragons lair down. :)
LOL. Its not bad. The dryer is on the left, washer on the right. It actually fits fine. I could move it some if I got a longer drain tube, but my wife wanted it this way.

$1000, damn! And I thought I got a great deal on mine for $1200 not working. And that was more than 12 years ago. Why can't I find someone who doesn't know the value of what they have. Well, I gues there was that Capt. Fantastic with pristine playfield I picked up for $900 and sold for $2350.

Just a little update. I have never cleaned a pinball before. But I bought some Novus 2 and it came in yesterday. Didnt really have time to do much yesterday. But I had 10-15 minutes where I could tinker on games. This stuff is amazing. I still need to take it apart and clean some more, but this is only 10 minutes worth of work. WOW.

This weekend I will probably clean it some more. I also replaced some bulbs, and I bought new rubbers and pinballs for it.

Remember you can get that Novus at Harley Davidson bike shops also, theres one 2 blocks from me and 8oz. bottle is $4.95-no shipping charges. Anyways get some Novus #1 to follow up on the Novus #2, Then 4-5 coats of Carnauba wax and your set. Use Novus #1 periodically between cleanings as it wont remove wax from the playfield. Use Novus on the targets to, you know the black line the ball leaves on them novus takes it right off, use it on all plastic's in the playfield. Nice score by the way, you can really make profit on this as I have seen them $6k and over before.

I had to place an order so I got 2 bottles anyway. Also ordered parts for my other pins to. Got like 10 boxes of bulbs, rubber kit for the TZ and BoP, and a bunch of new pinballs.

I figured if I ever get rid of it, it wont be to sell, but to trade. Only way I could see selling it is if by some chance I got out of this hobby all together.

I don't use Novus #1 at all. I don't really find it makes enough difference to be worth it but YMMV. Doesn't hurt to give it a try and decide for yourself.

Congratulations, you just completed the typical "shop job". :)

I like Novus 1 for periodic minor cleanups, when Novus 2 would be overkill. It's great to freshen up an already clean pin.

How about another update Umortal?

I guess it still looks about the same. I need to order a manual to get more in depth on the machine. But I have been playing it still and it still looks clean and works ok. It is about the only one I still play.

So yeah a bit off topic, but how did you like Police Force when you had it? I been tempted to buy one, but havent had a chance to play one.

It wasnt a bad game. I liked it. But theres not a whole lot to do on it. I paid like 500 for it and sold it for 550 I think. If I came across another one cheap, I would consider getting it again. My son liked it to.

I actually have a major mod idea, and it would be the perfect donor. Are they usually that cheap to find? Are they rare enough that I would be commiting a sin by completely changing its theme?

I have seen a lot of them around that price range, honestly. A really nice one would probably go for a lot more, but I have seen many for sale in the $500-600 price range that looked decent.

You sold that Police Force for $550 without telling me? I was looking for a game like that in that price range since I sold my Fire! to buy a mountain bike.

Yeah, they seem to be a pretty cheap pin to get.

I sold it through ebay so alot of people should have noticed it. I think I had it on CL as well for a little bit, but did not get alot of hits on it.

Ah man that's too bad I missed it. I was just kidding around though it's my bad. Oh well I'll keep my eyes a little more open from now on.
