Nintendo Red Tent.
It is a serious project but I don't mind.
I drove 1060 miles round trip yesterday to get it. (Dallas to KC, MO and Back)
Now (well later today once I am recovered from that drive!) I get to see what all is missing, broken, dead, repairable... Fun fun fun!

You could have shipped it for $100.

While I have been known to drive kinda far for a game.

NJ near NYC to Cleveland OH for a 720

Not sure Id drive that far for a project game. But if its your grail I can understand it.

1000 miles!?

That's the way to do it! :D

I just might end up getting one in your manner.

I'll be taking my longest trip for an arcade soon enough, and it's a project... but it's not going to be that far. Only about half that.

Welcome to the Red Tent club... they are awesome machines.

My wife has taken over the Unisys Vs machine so I always wanted a red tent and no one near me (DFW) has one for sale... So I figure it is about an 18 hour drive round trip, KC has some nice BBQ and I haven't seen my brother in a little while. So I picked my brother up at 5am and headed out. Had some nice BBQ after we picked up the game and headed home.

I know it is far, but I got time to spend with my brother and get caught up and we both like road trips. It's not about the money. Now I get to see what I need to replace (already know I need at LEAST one monitor)...

This is a great story and truly defines the passion of collectors.

Congrats, I may have a board/roms available if you need those to finish the restore.
