Ordered it about 12 days ago so I did pretty good timeline wisel. I got one manufactured on 7/7 with a May dated Playfield. Has the Slimer fix. Very fun game and my first NIB pinball.

It is a tough game... I will need to practice. :)

As usual images posted upside down... Only does that on KLOV forums for some reason. Man that tilt keeps going off... :)

Congrats, dude! I've got a Premium in the works, which is now sounding more like September, for delivery.

I played the Pro several times at CAX and loved it.

It's always going to tilt if it's mounted on the ceiling like that.

Yes that my was tilt joke after I saw how the picture posted.

Seriously though I need to change the tilt sensitivity. I need to bump the game a little more to prevent those center drains. :)

I like your taste in cabs. I also have a DK and Baby Pac... and would like a GB but don't have that sort of cash lying around.

Thanks. I also have the full size Mario pin in your WTB on the trade block... Too bad you are in CA.

congrats on your new gb pin! I got to finally play this pin @ cax last month and loved it.

be sure to inspect / take a look @ all of your inserts on the pf. sounds like a lot of guys are having issues with bad ghosting on the insert areas.

sounds like the last runs of sterns have had some of these ghosting issues on smve / got / and gb

Thanks for the advice. So far so good... but I think I have a little while longer to be in the clear.

I'm curious as to what you're referring to as ghosting? The plastics going hazy or the lights flickering (ghosting)?

Stern has had issues with their new play fields having the clear coat separate from the playfield causing a white milky haze on the boarders of inserts. Sometimes it is subtle - but someone who spends $5-8k on a new pin doesn't want to see it!

Thank you. After playing the GB at CAX this year I have seriously considered buying a new pin, but now I cringe at the thought of having this happen. Has Stern been good about fixing this issue under warranty?

Technically their warranty excludes this if you read it to the letter... However on past incidents of a similar nature Stern seems to work to resolve to the customers satisfaction provided they are persistent. What is happening on some games now is unprecedented in terms of the number impacted and appears to be tied to a specific large chunk of playfields that didn't cure right. I'd say it remains to be seen how it will shake out...

I'm really crossing my fingers the playfield doesn't do that - but some of the complaining on the games has been pretty nit picky. Like... fanboys who wrap comics in plastic picky. It's a pinball game it won't stay MIB.

That being said you only hear complaints and the problem "seems" worse than I think it is. No one has real numbers on it...

Honestly - I think any machine you order now will be back ordered for awhile and might be "safe".

Glad to hear you are having no problems. Mine has a playfield stamp date of June 14, and a manufacture date of July 8th. I received my machine on July 15th and so far have no issues with Ghosting. K3V on Klov and Pinside also got his the same week as mine and so far has no issues.

On the flip side we unboxed an LE this weekend with an August build date and it had insert ghosting out of the box. Of course I don't think the manufacture date has anything to do with it and its more about the playfield stamped date. No idea what his date was.

I hope no issues show up for us and I really hope that Stern ultimately makes it right for those that do have issues.

I hope they make it right for everyone too. Did you return the LE? I would have sent it right back and taken no chances with how Stern would make it right.

The LE isn't mine. This isn't the first time he has dealt with Stern and problems with NIB machines. I am sure he will be all over them.
