Got My Asahi Seiko New New Stock Coin Door Parts! Nice!

Just got my new coin door parts direct from the source. It's so awesome they still make these parts at a cheap price. They look beautiful.

Fully assembled:

Each part comes in nicely labeled bags:

Just a note to some of you who have never ordered from Asahi Seiko, if you choose to order parts individually, you have to order parts INDIVIDUALLY. In other words, if you order the face plate, it doesn't come with screws (although hopefully you can just use the ones that are on your old ones that you are replacing). If you order a reject button, you have to order the E-ring and the Spring separately.

Unfortunately, they no longer carry the small return cups that are on the original Nintendo cabinets. They only carry large ones that are way too big. So you'll have to settle with bugles until you can find some used or NOS return cups.

Here are the part numbers and prices from my order:

KMW-2033 Face Plate $4.00
KMW-3004 Reject Button $1.00
80R-ER00-11 E-Ring $0.06
KMW-3059 Spring $0.10
KMW-3003 Bugle $1.60

Michael Sparto is the sales rep there and he's super helpful and really good about answering questions. He ships out ASAP via UPS and it only takes about 3-5 days to get your parts in if you're in the lower 48 states.

Here's his contact info:

EDIT 1/19/11: They now require a $50 minimum order to setup an account. I'm not sure if they got the small return cups back in stock, but Mike's Arcade sells them now.

Yes Mike is the man.:hail:
He sold me a mech at half price because it was used in a demo.
Not a scratch on it,well worth $19.00.:)

prices

I don'nt see any prices for the complete ones 730 and 740.

Anyone know the prices on these? Seems like the tokens i would use on them would be too big. Thats the major problem i'm running into at the moment .

When I asked Mike back a couple of months ago. He said the fully assembled KWM-740 is $38. I don't know if the price has changed since then. Probably not. Just email him and ask. He's really cool about getting back.

FYI Mike must be long gone. The rep I emailed at corporate directed me to Mike's Arcade so they must be done selling direct.

Yep it was a sad day when we couldn't order direct.
Now you have to pay a way too high shipping,if it is even in stock.
Thankfully I got all my part needs taken care of before the monopoly happened.

Strange, as he's sold out of some stuff and needs to order more (he told me via email).

The stuff is available but has to be ordered directly from Asahi in Japan.
Mkie has an exclusive agreement with them so only he can order them.
The distributor in Vegas no longer supports these parts.
