Thanks to Joseph77 for the great deal (in my opinion). Thanks also to EagleTG for making the trip to get this and thanks to Malice95 for making the road trip worthwhile for EagleTG. Could not have done it without them!! It was a convoluted route to get here, but it's here!!! Still needs to be moved to the basement, but I just had to play it........here's some pics (yes, I'm a picture whore)

Thanks again to everyone that make this deal work out for me. You have no idea how appreciative I am for your help!

Yea it doesnt get the love it should but it is a good game.

Game looks like its in REALLY nice shape.

I agree. Sure it's old, but it's what I grew up on, so I love it! Plus I love the versatility of the System 1 design. I like that you can have a different game in minutes and not need a new cabinet. I think that's a big reason I really like Pinball2000 as well. I appreciate the design. It is in nice shape overall. The cabinet is SOLID and VERY heavy. They really overbuilt the cabinet IMO.

Congrats.

I love road blasters.
Played it a bit in the arcade, and a ton on the NES.

Underated game.

Thanks! I never played it on the NES, but I heard it was a pretty good translation.

Congratulations on the purchase! RoadBlasters is my favorite game.

Thanks

yeah congrats.. roadblasters is one of my favoites and one that i COMPLETLY restored...

Nice! This one is pretty nice. I would like to find sideart for it eventially. The control panel has a few minor issues, but everything works, which is the big thing (to me).

Nice! I'd like to get a Roadblasters some day.

They are out there :)

Now collect a few other kits. I currently own Road Blaster... Indiana Jones and Marble Madness.

Believe it or not... I'd never played Road Blaster until I bought my kit.

Working on that :)

I had a Roadblasters long ago, and bought it for $250 with Roadblasters, Marble Madness (kit) and Peter Packrat (kit). That was a score and a half back then (1989).

I would really like to get Peter Pack Rat again, I thought that game was really fun.

I've only ever played RoadBlasters on my Atari ST, how close is that to the arcade version?
Anyone know? Cause I played the shit out of it, to the point I literally wore the floppy disks out.
I know it was done by US Gold, and if their Street Fighter II port was anything to go by, Roadblasters is pretty much a perfect port.

I snagged a RoadBlasters a few weeks before Chris, got it from 'cueball' here on the forum... It needed a monitor which I've acquired, unfortunately the game has other issues (which I knew going in). I'm planning on using Chris' for troubleshooting as it's so close by.

Definitely one of my 'grails', have played it for hours and hours in the arcade, on the Atari Lynx, emulators, etc... It's a great freaking game.

I may have another option for you without ripping mine apart :)
