Got a new gaming pc!

I can get that stuff when I get home tomorrow. I know the IP is on automatic. If the computer is closer to the router than it works great. I think it might be to far?? I am gonna hard wire it. somehow.

how far is it exactly?

maybe 45-50 ft. but it goes through 4 walls and other objects. through living room, kitchen, and its in my downstairs(3 steps)

I ordered a 100ft cable. I am gonna figure it out somehow. Idc if I have to run it under my house.

i just ran mine along the wall

I use a 100ft cable to connect my PC to a WIRELESS router that is less than 10 feet away...

I'm not sure but this probably isn't a brag...

:dontknow:
nah its not, mine is setup like this wireless router downstairs>50ft cable along the wall upstairs>switch>20ft cable>another wireless router

I no longer have a computer.

Something as simple as ram and a video card. now I have NOTHING. I put all my stock shit back in and still NOTHING.

on load up it tells me a floppy disc fail. or some bullshit and will not boot into windows. Says boot from cd and some nvidia bullshit fails every time. I have no fucking cd for this mother board. Im so fucking pissed and I FUCKING HATE COMPUTERSs. I read the RAM instructions and it says if needs to boot from disc to change the settings in CMOS to default. well I did, and NOTHING. Still a fucking floppy disc error. GUESS WHAT. I HAVE NO FUCKING FLOPPY DISC IN MY PC. WHAT THE FUCK

ok first things first, open the side panel of the computer and check and make you did not disconnect the hard drive by accident, 2nd go into bios and look and see if you can find the floppy drive, if so see if you can change it to none and then try and boot

Ok. Sata cable wasn't connected. Fixed that and got the same error on start up. But hit f1 to continue anyway and it worked. Even with new stuff. But now on start up an reboot I get that error which I never did. At least I can skip it.

Well I still have that floppy disc error. And yea installed the latest drivers. Its cool I haven't used it yet cause I didn't have time but tonight ill check it out. I got a free copy of Hawx2 for buyig the card lol

only way I can think of to fix that error is to go into the bios and disable the floppy drive

FIXED! didnt know what setting it was, figured it out, got rid of it.

I was reading the manual, had the same exact error screen LOL read some more and told me how to get rid of it !!!
