Here is the craigslist ad...

"We have 4 Arcade games for sale they all have minor damage but think they could be great for some one who knows how to fix them up.
Games:
World Series Baseball (buttons broken)
Popeye (screen went out)
Donkey Kong (screen went out)
Bowling

We will take what ever you can offer us money goes to help our teen ministry. Any interested buyer must be able to move them out of our basement and transport them."

I took a chance and threw an offer to the guy 30 minutes after he posted this, thinking someone was probably on the way to get them already. Low and behold he e-mailed me back that night and said he would accept my offer and I could come get them. Games are in much better shape than I would have thought. I liked how he said that the screens went out on the Nintendo games as that kept the price down. I get there and try them and they played just fine. Had to bring 3 of them up a staircase with a 90 degree turn, but that was the worst part of it by far. Nintendo games are original too, by the quick look I gave the Nintendo tags on the back of the games. Hopefully there are some other goodies inside them as he didn't have most of the keys either.

The games are...

Donkey Kong (Great shape, wood base intact. Totally complete minus sideart.)

Popeye (Great shape, wood base missing. Other than that, just missing sideart.)

Krazy Bowl (Good shape in a super solid Dynamo cut corner cabinet. Was a Double Dragon II as the painted over sideart is still there.)

World Series Baseball: The Season (Decent shape in a Tempest cabinet. Start buttons missing, but other controls solid.)

Pretty happy with the pickup. Games will probably be sold to fund other purchases, so if anyone needs anything or is interested in any game, let me know.

You made a rookie mistake. Never try to fix or repair a game be offered as broken, in front of the seller. Just load the game and get it home and then check it out. Because your risking the seller jacking the price on you right then and there, because the game works now.

If its a working game with a high price, then test all you want.

Other then that Awesome deal, and I'm jealous.

I didn't make that mistake. My buddy who was helping wanted to play them and the guy turned the master power switch on for him. I immediately said, "We got to get going, we don't have time to play." I did not want him playing anything. Turns out though that the guy just needed them gone so I got lucky there. The guy actually told me before he turned them on that they were working, so I don't know why he put that they weren't in his post. I felt really lucky with this deal. I thought for sure one of the MN guys would have pounced on this and I would be SOL. I think the horrible picture the guy used, saying the screens were out on the Nintendo cabs and his lack of price saved me here.
