I don't often use the term "grail" but this was one for me. I didn't expect to get a Banzai Run but sometimes the powers that be have different ideas. Sold 3 machines to get this but it's worth it to me.

Despite the weight and weird center of gravity, my buddy and I got it down the basement steps safely, and despite me almost breaking the backglass by installing it wrong originally, it is now set up and working great.

I only ever played this game 3 times, but when I did I always knew I'd want one some day. Should have gotten it long ago (when they were cheap)! This was local, and at a price I was willing to pay.

Seriously lucky to get it and am really enjoying it! May be my favorite Pat Lawlor design.

One of the greatest pins ever.
I never get tired of it, but the key to that is to set it steep and mean to keep it challenging, but set kickback to easy so it's re-lit at start of balls.

I've had one for almost 30 years at this point and I used to regularly get 20M+ scores when I first had it. Now I keep it harder and I'm lucky to hit 3.5M in an average game and I like feeling good about a game like that, otherwise the A-B-C 2X cliff jump grind just gets too grind-y, but you _must_ go for that, every time.

Nice Airborne playfield on the wall! You must have gone to expo in 1997, I think it was?... $10 well spent! I still have one too, hah.

Whoa, lucky you! Enjoy!

Very different and super fun game, and I love it. I try to get at least a few games in on that one every time I'm at the Ann Arbor Pinball Museum.

That's not one that many people get a chance to enjoy. Looking forward to playing it again May 2-4 at their next show.
