Got a game you just can't seem to work on?

I have a Street Fighter II machine. The cab is in okay condition, the control panel is okay, the electronics are okay, but I just can't seem to bring myself to work on it.

The player one shotgun on the Zombie Raid in my garage has not been working properly for 4 months. Meh...I'll get around to it.

Buccaneer pinball 1948 em. Too much work, not enough knowledge on these old pins.
Spyhunter. Too many problems.

Heck, i got a bunch that fall into that category. :)

Me too. Everything falls into this categoy. Even my "working" games have something little that I need to do (hello Q*Bert knocker) that I just don't seem to have time/motivation for...

Anything monitor related always gets put off for me. I can do the work but just hate doing it so I ignore it as long as possible.

I put the chassis from the APB on the soldering desk a couple of weeks ago. I just haven't been motivated to work on it. the garage is really really cold now, so I may start messing with the MAME cab inside until it warms up. Or I may just continue to be lazy.

I have pretty much completely ignored my 2 Tempests. They were both stripped cabs when I got them, that I did some restoration work on, and even put sideart on one of them, got the Graylite 14 bezels for both, got marquee parts and overlays, CPs, etc... They "look" nice.

Still neither of them have guts, though. I blame the influx of working games I got into my house immediately after acquiring them...

Not to mention how ridiculously expensive the monitors and boards are for them... :(

Mario Bros. sat disassembled for almost a year before I finally got the motivation to find parts, clean it up and put it back together.

Three of my JAMMA cabs have lock bar holes and need to be repainted, but I have no motivation whatsoever to restore them.

My Red Tent. It actually works fine, but needs buttons and a repaint. I have the buttons and the paint, but other things always come up before I get a chance to work on it.

Nope!

I finish all my stuff from beginning to end and I don't get another until the one is done, but that's just me!

Dude, that's hardcore self-control. I wish I could be like that, but deals come up and you can't pass on them. You're probably one of very few who do that. :)

Well I mainly do that because I want to play my game after a resto and show it off.

I know deals are out there, but that's why I don't look while I am restoring a game. If you look, you will certainly find one! LOL!!!!

Well, I admire your self-control my friend. When I had the room, I had CL notifications on my phone 24/7, but I haven't looked since picking up Double Dragon recently. It's probably for the better. I would love to have all my games in minty form. The only one I have that's minty is DK and it was my first game and 100% restoration back in 2009.
