A 33" Showcase Cabinet from a neighbor that is moving and didn't want to drag it along. He got points with his wife for getting rid of it and I got a sweet med/standard res capable 4-player (3 buttons) cabinet. No pics yet. It is black with a topper. The coin drops are at the CP level (two of them - metal drops). Not sure who made the cabinet.

Today has been a good day so far. :)

No pic's? It didn't happen then. Lol

I was leaving for work and walked across the street to where the moving company semi was. No time for pics yet but it did happen. :)

The moving guys seemed happy they weren't going to have to load it - while I was there and he was helping me move it to my garage, he told them he had gotten rid of that machine so they would not have to load it up. That was funny to me.

Seems like you're having a good couple of days. A Space Duel and now this!

I believe it man.. I had to turn down a free 33" showcase cab when I went and picked up my ATV Track. I had 0 room in the truck for it and I was late and I just didn't have time to even attempt to shove it in. I asked if I could come back for it the next day but since it was auction based outfit they said they were moving on to the next location. These things do happen if your in the right place at the right time.. I really didn't have the room for the cab but I wanted the monitor. Oh well..

Congrats man..

Congrats on your score!

Since we're on the topic of Showcase cabs I got one for free a while back. Cab was in OK shape except it had a bit of water damage. Needed the chassis for my other Showcase so I had to part it out and only kept the monitor, coin doors, speakers and wiring. My original cab was an Atari and the other I parted out was a Dynamo.

Just got it inside the house. The monitor pedestal was a major pain getting up a couple of steps. Think I dislocated my shoulder. ;)

Im a fan of the showcase cab. Back when the 1xx-1 boards first came out I was converting those suckers into massive multicades that brought me some big bucks. The last one I did took me about 6 months to unload. I guess I tapped out the STL market on people willing to have huge ass machines in there households...

I have some pics of the cabinet and my "new" old favorite game. I think it came in right behind Primal Rage - which I still want. I have a PR boardset with issues now. Pit-Fighter is awesome in a showcase cabinet. ;)

EDIT: Still lazy on the pics - have to hook up my phone and and all. Eventually. I have Pit-Fighter to play. :) Also looking for a Sunset Riders at a decent price...

I've been wanting a Primal Rage baord as well. My atari showcase cab was originally a Primal Rage. It still has the back door sheet in it. I like Pit Fighter as well. Regardless of controls it's a fun game.

Some pics (finally). Think my iphone camera window is a bit dirty. Oh well. It was what I had close by when I decided to take a pic. Needs a cap kit as Captain America looks pretty bad. Pit-Fighter rocks in the cabinet. Have played a few other horizontal boards as well. Need more buttons - still deciding how to merge more with the current layout. Worst case, I would just make a new top and start from scratch.

That's a weird looking coin acceptor in front of the controls What's up with the joytsticks? Did they change the CP to wood and leave the C clip in the metal CP position? Good looking picture though. The working monitor makes up for all the minor things. You might want to find some spacers or replace the joysticks. They look funny like that.

It is an odd coin acceptor setup. Has spot welded metal chutes inside for the coins to drop into the coin boxes (boxes missing, of course). It is also missing some of the 'doors' for covering the guts up so will have to make some. I don't really know the history of this machine. It was made by ICE. Not sure when the CP got hacked up. I haven't opened the CP to look inside yet, either. The P2 joystick has an issue so that is on the to-do list.

You can't beat free, but damn that control panel is weird. The buttons sort of swoosh up to the top right.

Mine are nice people, but duds as far as common interests go. ;)

Yep. I am bummed that my neighbor moved. It was a job move, though. It was cool that across the street from me was another like me. :)

I have actually had neighbors walking down the street ask if I needed help while unloading games from my truck, though.
