The big cheese (pun intended) asked me to come by his house today and fix his pins. Jurassic park and space jam.

It was a strange opportunity, I guess.

One buddy of mine said I shouldn't do it, I figured why not.

Comments...

I did go, wasn't a doubt in my mind

I see no issue in that at all. I've fixed pc monitors for higher-ups at my company. I don't understand why people think it's bad to do stuff like that for the boss.

Yeah sometimes the 'big-wigs' are looking for an opportunity to be one of the guys and get to know you a little bit.

I've fixed my boss' computers, etc. THen again he is more like a friend than a boss, especially since we have have a 4 person company (well 5 if you count the intern..)

He said he will pay me overtime pay. I haven't charged him yet cause I need to return to install a part. Dunno what "method" of payment he will use.

Hey a little brown nosing never hurt anyone. It's how you make your way through this dog eat dog world in which we live in. :)-

Depending on the CEO your work for.
If he a good guy s=ure why not. If he he a pain to deal I wouldn't personally. Nothing worse than a guy who always ask for favors thinking he deserves it becuase he is your boss. Drop everything to fix a arcade machine when you have something planned with your family? You don't need those kinds of head aches.

Update:
Went back today for round two. Had to install ordered parts.

Was chatting with his son... He has in his bedroom a RARE super chexx. HUO, Dallas stars vs. Buffalo sabers. It looked mint. Cec got one for the store by corporate back in 99 when Dallas won Stanley cup. Which I was told to destroy in 08.

Pretty cool to see one again.
