its my first juke i got it pretty cheap. it all powers up and the turn table was spinning. i stuck the one 45 i own on it and it plays slow. when it gets to the end some things kind of move around and the arm resets its self to the beginning and plays again. idk, i still have some investigating and reading to do. maybe someone local can come give it a tune up? everything looks complete and undamages so i hope it aint too bad off

You've got a very reliable jukebox there, it shares the same mechanism as several models of that era, so parts will never be a problem..

It sounds like it just needs a good service. They thrive on regular use. It looks like the switch that activates the gripper arm etc., at the end of the record isn't working. I'd guess it has not been used much recently if the turntable is turning slow. Check that the little wheel under the turntable is engaging on the motor spindle properly and it spins freely and the rubber "tyre" is in good condition and the little spring is not stretched. Check the inside of the turntable rim for grease or build up rubber deposits.

Once you've had it serviced, work through all the "A & B" selections to make sure all the pins work.

It has the same mechanics and amplifier as my 100 selection 1969, 443.

Working well it will sound like this.

i just got a 450, sounds damn good man.. yours looks alot like mine inside...

the mechanism that grabs the record gums up petty bad...oil the hell out of it...

there should be a leaf switch that the record arm hits when its done with the record, make sure those contacts are clean and contacting only when itas at the end of the record..

Should i spray something in there to clean the old gum out? And whats a good product to keep this thing oiled up with? I got a tub of synthetic brake caliper grease and alot of other automotive lubes already in my garage

I'd use paraffin, but keep it away from any electrical contacts.

In Great Britain we have a product called "3 in 1" it's a light machine oil, it's what I use, it's also used on sewing machines and I even use it on my tenor saxophone mechanisms.

Here's a link to a lubrication chart I put on "image shack."
Once you've got it "lubed up," with domestic use, every six months should be enough, as long as the machine is used regularly. Also don't let them get too cold or too hot.

ideally you want something thin, not wd40 thin, but thinner than 30 weight...

10 or 20 will be our best bet. atf would work, but its got alot of detergent in it, this could just make matters worse...

is the best stuff ive ever used on em things, and the spout pulls out like 12" so its real handy to cleanly oil stuff...

you can get this cheaper at your local hardware store

I dont think i have something grounded out right. When i touch the chrome i can feel the tingle of electricity if its on. I cleaneh her up but when i push the buttons nothing happens...

3-in-1 is perfect...just clean out the old gunk first...brake cleens works great.

That sounds like a ground problem all right. Check over your power cord, it should have a 3 prong plug. Make sure the ground terminal is not clipped off or plugged into an adapter to fit 2 prong outlets.

Use a multimeter to check continuity from each prong on the plug to it's corresponding wire connection inside the box, usually near the power supply.
