I bought a Gorf that had the upper side art pealing off around all the edges. It is the starfield art in the shape of a triangle to the right and left of the monitor enclosure. I don't think anyone makes a repro for it. As far as the pealing art, would you scrape it all the way off, flatten it out, and then use contact cement to put it back on flat???

I also need side art for the exterior cab. Does anyone make it? I heard the one most used is way off on the blue color.

Thanks

You may want to PM Spyridon, he fully restored an upright Gorf to perfection; I'm sure he could answer your questions.

I don't believe the inside art is reproduced.

And it appears the only sideart is reproduced by arcadeoverlays. Mine is on its way. We'll see if it is as far off in color as Spyridons was (I'm guessing it will be the same as his).

No repro's that I am aware of for the artwork around the monitor. Arcade Overlays is also the only option for the side art. Blue color is off from the original, but currently no other options. Still looks better than bad artowork but would be nice if they corrected the color

Rich from ThisOldGame.com is going to be making the Gorf side art eventually. No idea what his schedule is, unfortunately.

I have one inner side of the GORF side art that I peeled from a scrapped cabinet. Why I didnt grab the other half while I had the chance, I am not sure. It is surely usable for scanning if anyone is interested in the project.

RE: Gorf side art.

I would try to replicate the upper side art, however, I am not sure how to do that. I know people scan them, however, I have never done any type of work like that. My left side is intact, the right side is torn up. If nobody wants yours for a scanning project, I might buy it from you if you have no use for it.

Thanks
Rick
