I'm restoring a Gorf soon and need to read up on the technical stuff...the cabinet is in good enough shape i dont need to mess with it...so i'm just going to convert it back....anyone know of any restoration videos or blog write ups or anything like that on a Gorf? looks like it was gutted and converted over to a jamma game...so i will have to basically start from scratch and build the innards.

I can't point you to any blogs or videos on de-converting the conversion, but I do have a tested, working, re-capped power supply board available for sale. $38 shipped. See reply #5 in this thread (Space Zap & Gorf use exactly the same power supply board):

A guy in the restoration section deconverted a GORF from (I think) Time Pilot. Check there.

Word of warning, GORF is a complicated game. Lots of separate parts, like the rank lights board, and the RGB interface board needed to connect the PCB to the monitor.

That said, it's a great game, and best of luck bringing it back!
