So I just received a power supply conversion adapter for my GORF from arcadeshop. The converter is working fine and I've tested the power leads going into the motherboard cage. The game is still dead. I get absolutely nothing on the monitor.
So my question is, what logic or method should I used as I swap out boards in the cage? I don't have access to a known working set of boards (I do have 3 cages and boards of unknown state). Or, would it be best to just find someone who has a working board that can test each cage and board set for me?
I spend about an hour yesterday swapping out boards and cages based on suggestions from another thread. I would eventually like to have at least two working boardsets (one for a backup).
I do have to say that the game is just beautiful. I tapped into the front marquee light power for the conversion power supply and I replaced all the bulbs with florescent bulbs at that time. Seeing it all lit up gets me all excited to see it fully working.
