Gorf LCD conversion issues

I just mounted a WG 19" tri-mode arcade LCD (http://www.twistedquarter.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=200_512_515&products_id=507) into my Gorf cabinet. The screen shows no display most of the time, occasionally blinking the game screen for less than a second. I have looked at the sync wires, but I have no idea where to start or if that is actually the issue. Google has failed me.
If it matters, the game has the Midway power supply conversion kit from Arcadeshop installed (http://www.arcadeshop.com/pdf/mappy...umpinjump_wizofwor_jrpac_power_supply_kit.pdf). The original PS looked as if it had tried to catch on fire at one point, and had been hacked since.
I don't know where to start. Any help is appreciated.
The game worked well with the WG 4900 that was previously installed but the burn-in was unbearable (although better than not working).
Thanks,
Dan

When I was bench testing my Gorf I tried to use an LCD I and had the same problem. But when on a Std. res. CRT it worked fine.

I tried it wired directly. Then I tried it converted to a VGA cable. I then used a spare GBS-8200 to try and convert the signal to VGA. No luck so far.
I have been searching the internet for hours. One site suggests that the sync coming out of the RGB interface is 12 volts instead of the standard 5 volts. Is there anything to this?
Edit: My sync seems to measure 5.66 volts, so I guess that's not it.

put a real monitor in it and have it the way it should be.

i can get you all fixed up.

Peace
Buffett

Exactly; don't put LCD monitors into classic games. They'll look like ass even if you get them working.

The CRT will be off to Buffett and the LCD will go on the shelf. He has done a great job with all my other CRT's.

I believe Gorf has a separate little board that all the video runs through that mounts on the side of the cabinet, I'll bet that's just different enough that it makes it unable to work with an LCD. I've never seen an LCD in a Gorf...

Thanks Buffett! Not only did he fix up my old 4900, I am the proud new owner of a burn free K7000! I will try to attach a pic, no idea if it will work.

Edit- blurry and sideways- nailed it.
