GORF joystick strain relief spring

Hey guys,

Working on a GORF joystick and am having trouble sourcing a replacement strain relief spring for the fire/lamp board wiring that runs through the joystick. It is about 3/16" dia. and 11" long. Pics below.

Any ideas what I might be able to use for this?

I figure you'd really just need flexible spring stock with same OD.

Good luck. I wonder about the stiffness and the ID. I can't imagine why any flexible spring, where the ID and OD would work, wouldn't do the job.

Ah crap, and better make sure the 36" length is relaxed and not stretched to something.. not sure how that rate, etc works.

By the image, it looks like it is 36 inches unpulled. Looks like it should work for cranes too. THANKS! Saving link!

Damn - never thought of a crane spring.

So I want ahead and ordered one of the springs listed above. It turns out the outer diameter of the new one is the same as the inner diameter of the original, but since there is only four wires going through, it works fine.
Flexibility wise, the spring is perfect.
