The header pin out doesn't match 100%
Figures there is like 8 more switches then gorf. Board looks slightly different as well. Any one successfully interchange these?

do you mean the I/O board and not the cpu board? If you mean I/O then yes they are different.

The CPU board is the board with the 3 40-pin chips on it. They are the same. The board with ther headers is the "input/output/audio" board....refered to in the manual as the "game" board. As stated, they are different. I don't know if you could hack one to work in another. I doubt it.
