Hey guys,
I'm checking to see if anyone has a good recommendation for low ESR capacitors for repairing switching power supplies? There's an old Randy Fromm article that talks about replacing them with good, high quality Low ESR caps, but he also refers to outdated Nichicon part numbers. I figured some of the guys here might have some capacitors that are carried through Bob Roberts, Jameco, DigiKey, Mouser, etc; that have been proven to have a good track record for power supply use. Randy mentions TTI, but you have to call them to get the right part ordered. Granted, it might not be a big deal to call them, I just don't want to wait on hold to possibly get a foreign call center rep that's difficult to understand.
The article in question is:

Anyone have any thoughts?
Thanks!
