Just came across a FREE sega saturn. It's missing the AV cable, but other than that it's complete. I was wanting some input from you guys on some good games for it. I hear the MK ports are really good....what else is out there.

Also......if anyone has an extra a/v cable....let me know! :D

Nights is pretty good.

Sega Rally Championship is a decent conversion, especially compared to the woeful original Daytona conversion. If you must have Daytona for the Saturn, get Daytona USA Championship Circuit Edition.

Dragon Force is another good one.

The Panzer Dragoon games are good too (but can be expensive), and the version of Virtua Fighter 2 is decent.

MK2 but I think the best rendering of MK2 by far is for the Sega 32X

I have to second Dragon Force. Also, Albert Odyssey, Duke Nukem 3d, and Shining Force 3

Also, look up the few other Working Designs games for it (Iron storm, sega ages, shining wisdom, an magic knights rayearth) All tons of fun.

Fire Pro Wrestling is awesome. Of course, it's Japanese, so you'd have to mod the Saturn to play it...

I have to say Dragon Force as well. Though, it's one of the best and most desirable Saturn games. You're going to have to pay a pretty penny for it. There was actually a sequel but it was only released in Japan.

One of the best party games ever is playing 10-Player Saturn Bomberman with two multi-tap controller adapters.

Another great multiplayer game is Guardian Heroes. Also multi-tap capable with a crazy battle mode.

Lastly, the Panzer Dragoon series is awesome.

Or get the right game shark. Some (all?) of the gameshark units for the saturn had an undocumented feature where if you held down A+B+C (or X+Y+Z? haven't fired up the saturn in a long time) and hit start it would boot import games. I freaking love fire pro series, and six man scramble is one of my all time favorites. Great timing system for the grapples, all the editing features, deathmatches, barbed wire bats, and a 6 player option. There's also carts out there that straight boot imports, but they go into the mem expansion port so it's not a total solution for all import games.

if you can find the saga ages CD it has near perfect arcade ports on afterburner II, outrun and space harrier

biggest downfall to saturn is the handfull of good games are $50+ on ebay and everything else is just mehhh

if you look at the japanese library tho there are some really impressive and cool games that we just never got
