Good place to buy an appliance dolly??

Are you just moving arcade games? If so, then no need for a heavy, bulky appliance dolly. Even with stairs, you can use a standard dolly and not be bothered with so much bulk and weight.

Look into buying a magliner dolly for game moving....you won't regret it. Avoid pneumatic tires too...they're horrible for game moving.

I can understand non-pneumatic vs. pneumatic tires, but the ones on my dolly work well...as long as I let some air out of `em.

Lookig for one that has the rachet tightening on it. Checked Menard's, Home Depot, Lowes website. No luck.

Lowes did a site-to-store on mine... If you find one you like on the web page, they get it to the store for free. I got the Cosco 3-in-1, which is great but doesn't have the straps you want.

Edit: sorry misread where you said you looked on web page, thought you looked in store.

I hate the Harbor Freight appliance Dolly!

The rubber tracks on the back aren't on wheels, the just slide in a groove. Or I should say they're supposed to slide in the groove. In practice, they actually make it harder to go up stairs.

Their other hand trucks are fine (at least the heavier-duty ones).

I got this one

I found a used motorized lectrotruck stairclimber off craigslist for a few hundred bucks. Was well worth the investment. Thing has been a lifesaver. If you have the cash and are constantly moving games, I highly recommend picking one up.

the Costco one gets lots of praise from the guys locally, especially since you can tip the game back at an angle and support it with the extra set of wheels instead of having to lift it the whole time. i might have to break down and buy one sometime soon.

i have a cheap Harbor Freight model ($30-$40, depending on if it's on sale or not,) and i feel it's about the same as the $60 standard gray one from Home Depot (which i also have.) both have pneumatic tires, something i need as the sidewalk into my house has a number of good bumps that make a dolly with solid tires almost impossible to use.

go with the northern tool or something like it. It will be the bet money you ever spent.

4 wheel dollies is the way to go. Solid wheels. Stay away from balloon tires.. ratchet strap is ale nice..

If you can afford to spend extra money get an aluminum one..

If i remember correctly Harbor Freight has like 8 different models. there are always like 30 infront of my local store.

Really? I checked this one out in person and the angle it sits back at when it's on the kickout is pretty steep. It's way past 45 degrees. It seemed like it wouldn't work well in practice, but it sounds like it's fine. I may have to reconsider it.
