Cool. Anyone know of a good Firefox plugin for ripping FLV content from YouTube for off-line viewing??

I had something before I formatted. just google like "youtube downloader" you'll find something. I've used it before too and it had the jitters at the beginning if I recall but then it was fine.

I've been using a Firefox plugin called "download helper". It also works fine. I downloaded all of the "CRT Montior" 4-part series, and I'm nearly done watching them all.

Very interesting. He definitely filled in some holes in my understanding of how monitors work. It's a little focused on monitors newer than what I deal with (almost all of mine are 80s-vintage standard res), but many of the concepts are still applicable. If you work on more 90s-era (or even 2000s) monitors, it's even more valuable.

I think I'm going to snag a copy of everything else on his youtube channel for my archive...

saveyoutube.com is great & fast, then I burn with Nero vision. I have watched all four monitor series and it has made me say to myself "well that makes alot more sense now" very many times. Best 4 hours ive spent as far as educatiing myself on Tech stuff !
