I ordered some chips from Arcade Chips, Mark accidentally sent me the wrong ones, he just let me know that he is sending me the correct ones, I can keep the wrong ones, AND he's sending me some other goodies for the mix up.

Huge amounts of market research shows that a screw up when handled perfectly can be far better from a customer service/retention point of view then doing everything perfect from the get go.

A great showing of how forgiving the human being is willing to be.

I love to hear stories like this where people go the extra mile to make things right.

I believe this is true. [hijack] We were scheduled for a trip on American Airlines. We got VERY sick and could not go. They said we could use the flight another time within a year anywhere in the USA (paying the difference, if needed) We re-booked a flight and found the ORIGINAL flight had a mix up and everyone had been upgraded to business class. American gave us THAT amount as the credit, which was $700 over what we paid for the original flight (per person!). So we got a new flight, and vouchers for $400 EACH to fly again within a year. [/hijack]

I find it refreshing that there are still companies that care. Glad you were taken care of, and if I need chips in the future, I know where I will be looking first!
