So, yesterday I find out I have to drive to cincinnati to pick up something for work. Hmm, I thought let's check craigslist to see if I could find any good deals on games. BAM I find a 1943 "battle of miday" working for only $80. I thought to myself this has to be gone already. So, I call the guy and he say's he still has it and it works 100% and he just needs it moved thus the low price. I drive to the guy's house to pick up the game and it is just as described works great and the control panel and marque look nice. Well I pick up my other load for work and on my back to louisville my new game starts to disintegrate all over the highway. uggggg!!! First the whole top of the game blows off including marque. Then as I try to pull over the cardboard bezel the art work and plexiglass blow off also. The semi behind me runs it over bashing it everywhere. WTF great deal gone real bad. So, does anyone have the needed stuff to put this thing back together???

lol, I got busted cab free from someone who bought a game but it fell off his truck while driving. Sorry to laugh, but I can actually visualize that :) Damage not bad as story sounded though. At least you know parts are good.

Man, that sucks. That looks like a converted Centuri cabinet... shouldn't be too hard to get back the pieces you need to fix it up.

My sega title fight twins header busted while goin down the highway. Gotta watch that wind, guess that's why pallette wrap is good!

That was worth $80 for the story.

We put some games on the trailer one time, including a Pengo without a back door, with the back facing forward.

As soon as we got up enough speed to get some air pushing in there, the bezel popped out and shattered.

Didn't thing about that...

BTW, I like that control panel

Shrink wrap is your friend. Forget blankets and tarps.

+1. I didn't do that bringing the machines back from Spanks. Totally forgot that the drive is mostly through the LA swamps till the TX border. I had to scrape about 1/4" of smashed bugs off the fronts of the machines. Yeeeuuuck!

I seen this deal when the guy posted it a couple days ago.. Had I not been broke from xmas I would of jumped all over it.. I tried to talk a friend into buying it yesterday morning but he was not up for it.. Sorry for your loss man... It was a great deal for sure.

Yeah, definitely a converted Munch Mobile. I had one a while back that had been converted into Golden Tee. I can definitely see why Munch Mobile gets converted so often - it's not a very good game...

So why did the wind blow it apart? Was the back door missing or off and the back of the game was facing the front and the open back acted like an air scoop and that blew it apart?
The good news it should be easily repairable, a little wood a few cuts and a few screws and a little paint and should be good as new.:)
