Well I was on the road for far too long yesterday round trip, but snagged two machines I was looking for some time: Donkey Kong for $200 and Ice Cold Beer for $400. Both need work, but aside from missing a cab panel on the ICB, both look complete.

Had a few other machines too (Vanguard, Astro Blaster, Huge EM horse race game), but barely fit these 2 in my truck. Nothing like driving 5 hours with basically 2 sails up to kill your gas mileage!

first time looking at the DK setup...it appears i'm missing the edge connector...the fun begins.

The ICB doesn't appear to need to much mechanical work thankfully.

Donkey Kong didn't uses the edge connector so you are okay there. It should used a bunch of small connectors plugged into different places on the board. Do you see those?

It's one sail. The first game acts as a wind break for the second game. The secondary drag vortexes are minimal.

That's a super priced grab. Well done!

I was at that auction. Thought that DK went for 300ish? Was shocked considering the condition. Did the boardset or monitor work for you? Or Ice Cold Beer? I was very interested in both but working status was unknown. Congrats on winning them.

Actually haven't had a chance to test either yet. The DK needs work, the board has some rust on some of the chips so that's concerning. The ICB looks in good condition, don't like the look of some of the wiring but that's an easy fix. Just hoping the PS is good in it; the game runs on some odd voltage. And yes the DK was $200 (I wasn't there, I called in my bids and was told to drive to NY sat morning)

I see. Someone must have not paid for it that night and it defaulted to you.

That is the first auction Ive ever been to. Some people get really carried away in the bidding.
