Good buy or bad? your thoughts

Seen an ad on CL for an arcade. It said make best offer I said 100,he said 200 was low as he could go.Not really knowing anything about the game (never heard of it)I bought it. ? was this a good price. The game is called Hyper Sports,it's a fun game.It didn't come with a key to open the back, but I got into it.It looks like no one's ever been in there. It still had paper work on the back of the tube and the manual in the bottom. Here's a few pics to look at. Thanks Travis B.

cool man! that wasnt a steal, but you werent bent over either. might want to consider converting it back to its former glory later down the line.

The main thing is that if your happy with it, at the end of the day thats all that matters.

I think you did great. You can convert that to a Track and Field easily, AFAIK. I would have jumped on it.

I didn't haggle with the guy after I found out it was in a church that is still a Tornado Relief center here in Jopin,mo. They needed more room so the game had to go.I believe the money is going toward a good cause.

It's already converted to it's original orientation. Maybe I missed something from the original poster, but it has a hyper sports coin door.

And hyper sports is a superior game to track and field.

you stole it for $200

minimum $300 for any working hyper sports (my opinion)

holy krap man i didnt even see your town! i take it your place fared o.k. if your out buying arcade games hehe..

the dealership i work for took donations and filled a big semi trailer full fo clothes shoes etc basics and sent em on down that way. Its not much really, but after something like that i think even basics could go a long way.

It's all good on this side of town(North Side). It kinda makes me feel like shit to know the last two arcade's I have acquired were because of the tornado, this one and my Galaxian I received from member Edweird13.

I think that's a factory hyper sports, not a T&F conversion.

Here's some stickers that are on the cab. I'd say it's factory hyper sports.

+1 Yup.... Don't convert it to a T-N-F... That there is a dedicated Hyper Sports and should be preserved. Also a much better game than T-N-F.

The price is quite nice... Even has the original tags on the back..... that's AWESOME! Now just keep it away from Tornadoes....

I would say you got a good deal.. The hypersports pcb is worth $150.

You can pickup a track and field board for like $100-$125.

Wow.. I remember back in 1998 trying to sell some T&F and Hypersports PCB's. I couldnt get any buyers at $25 each. I think I wound up selling both for $15. Guess I should have held on to my extra boardsets longer :(

That's okay Kinder, you can make it up by selling your SPO pcb to me for $25. It'll be like old times.:D

Hahaha.. no way! It took me 3 years to get that damn PCB! :) hehe... and in the end, I had to buy a complete cabinet so I could put the PCB in my restored SPO.
