Good Bye GARCADE, HELLO BASECADE!!! WOOT!! OMGWTFBBQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all, I want thank EVERYONE that came to my home yesterday and helped move all of the arcade games from my garage to my basement. The whole day I was thinking, "This is amazing, how is this possible? How are all these guys here helping me? Whoa." We truly have some of the best collector's here in New England. You guys ROCK. Every single one of you. We had about ten guys show up and it took us about 90 minutes to move about 15 games.

Anyways, I put up a little photo album of everything here:

Very nice... So how long until you haul them out so you can drywall, drop the ceiling and toss down some black light carpet? :)

Also, did you get rid of the Popeye cocktail?

Very cool. Wish I had a basement. Do you have plans to drywall the ceiling?

Also, what's with the jack-hammering? Was it a trench for electrical, drainage, or what?

Congratulations on the basement arcade. Looking good. Yea I have found true game collectors are some of the best people you could ever hope to meet. I just hope water never finds it's way into your basement. Hope you are on a hill. I have seen to many pictures of flooded basements. Here in SouthEast Virginia you don't see any basements, dig 3 or 4 foot and you hit water. Good luck:)

I'm not sure what the BBQ is at the end of your title, and I forgive you for it, but your little arcade is bitchin'.

I think i will eventualy finish the basement. But, honestly, this kind of works for me right now. It's very cozy down here. I like it. The flash photography shows off the bare wood aspect of the ceiling. But when the lights are dim and the games are glowing, it's pretty great.

I sold the Popeye cocktail to a buddy of mine and bought a pretty nice upright for "the row". :)

That looks pretty damn nice. Your Nintendo row looks good. Now I know where all the Nintendo cabs are....

So do you have 2 stairs in to the basement? Or just 1? The one that you are bringing the games down appears to open to the outside. Yes?

Ms. Pac gets to stay upstairs?

I too wish I had a basement. I may some day get my basement. Due to ongoing housing development in the area and the potential for us to develop our field too, my house may need to be moved somewhere else on our property. I have a new road that dead ends right at my garage. If that does happen, I am definitely gonna drop it on a new basement foundation. Until then, I will remain jealous. My current arcade is in the third floor attic....
