Gonna be on Channel 9 News (Denver) Tonight.

Hey John,

In one snippet, they showing pointing to your Tron and you tell the other guy there, "....I mean dude, I paid a thousand for that Tron..."

Can you tell us what you guys were talking about? The rest of that story. Interesting....

Nice clip BTW.

...

If I remember right, the conversation was something about the type of $$$ have I paid for games. I mentioned that I have gotten some stuff really cheap, but other stuff not so cheap. Basically (and its the case now), I would pay top dollar (or good money anyway) for something I want in the right condition. Its not all about buying the cheap games.

Jon

Well, there were 2 there. One was Jason Brekke (a pinball collector) and Steve (he's on here, but i dont know his nick).

Jon

Friends don't let friends play vintage video games alone! :D
Thanks for the cameo opportunity, Jon. I wish she'd have taped the 3 of us playing your Track & Field - we were having a blast on that one!

Congrats on a great interview! Kudos to a great collector.

I thought the video clip was EXCELLENT. What a great collection! I thought Steve's yellow beauty just might make a cameo appearance?! Really nice to see the whole family with smiles all the way around.....

He will be on VH1 next for 'Behind the story' when the cameras are off, things really change in the household... lol :)

A great interview! I logged on to post a link, but obviously I'm behind the times!

Thanks for raising the prices for all of us on the Front Range, Jon! :)

nice video, ex, i liked how they portrayed you and the hobby as cool. seems like 9 news usually portrays that sort of thing in a good light, (when they did stuff on lyons pinball or the pinball showdown.)

That's really cool. And they covered it pretty well.

They said you have a music business , what do you do ?

He sells bootleg CD's at the local flea market. It's pretty sad really.....his daughters talk up the quality of the copies to customers while he goes around to other venders looking for Vectrex and Atari 2600's.

:)

I just run a small record label / distro.

Jon

No sh**t?! I did the same thing for 12. years. I also had a live sound division. still sitting on thousands of dollars worth of sound equipment. what kind of music? I worked with 2nd and 3rd tier punk/hardcore acts (Catch 22 , Bigwig, H20, etc) man I miss it.. somehow fell into this hobby. ... man I miss the crazy life of a music biz guy...

Congrats on a great news story

....

Well I had a 4th of July party this weekend. I had 3 games die :(
Frontline controls stopped working, Jungle King power supply went out. And my zeke peak took a shit.

Surprisingly I have had no problems with Space Fury or Star Trek. I had all of them on for 15 hours straight.

Jon

Very cool! Too bad your Tempest wasn't on. Is that a Warlords UR next to the AD?
More proof that behind (almost) every arcade collector, there's an ARCADE WIFE!:)

I saw Tempest in one of the shots... They didn't show it playing but I saw the cabinet at least. :)

...

My tempest smoked actually. The power supply did.
I believe the board has some issues.. But havent had a chance to even look at it.
