Ok, so I had all my arcade games running tonight (see list in my sig), when I sit down to play Golly! Ghost!. I notice there is no music or sound. I start a game and same thing. I power cycle the machine and get an error 13. Now I'm worried. Golly! Ghost! is not just some common game I can get parts for. I'm sitting there thinking to myself what the issue could be. I decided to start basic.

I remove the front service panel from the cabinet and realize it's super hot inside. I test +5v and it's low. I adjust +5 and then I notice the power supply fan is not turning. I go ahead and reconnect everything for a quick test and problem solved. :) Now I just need to replace the power supply fan. I don't know how many of you have ever worked on a Golly! Ghost! before but it is not too service friendly. Everything is packed tight with little clearance. :/ Time to wrestle out the power supply without taking EVERYTHING out of the cab.

I just finished replacing the fan and closing everything back up. It's working great. It's amazing how something so simple as a dead fan can cause such a snowball of events.

Keep an eye on it. If it glitches randomly you may have to replace some bad caps in the power supply. They don't like overheating.
