Guy sounds ok with a trade, said a cheap arcade and some cash for a trade.

Here is the description:

Goldeneye 007 pinball machine

Im trying to make room in my shop . Game plays nice but needs work. Display and sound are not working . Needs a good cleaning . The game is a re- import . Was shipped to Eaurope from the US , so it was wired for 220V , The Manufacturer made it easy to convert back to 115V . Its done and the new plug installed . Looking for offers . Thanks

It's a game that doesn't get a lot of attention from the collectors but its a decent game. Mine gets a lot of play. You want to check that the Magnet controller board isn't burnt to a crisp as this game has a tendency to burn them up. Assuming that you can verify that the game is booting and playing and not overall trashed cosmetically. With the problems listed, I would say if you can get it for $400 - $700 it would be a good deal. I'd also ask if the display ever worked after the conversion from Euro specs.

Id run for the hills. Sounds like an electrical nightmare. Unless you can fix it all your self. Working ones probably go for 1200-1400.

I love mine, as long as it works and is in decent shape I say go for it.. reimport does not matter as long as whoever redid the wiring wasn't a moron (which happens)

the transformers are the same, just changes the way the primary taps are wired... not sure how thats an "electrical nightmare" but ok

Someone is offering him $550 cash for it so he is going to go with that.
He fixes and restores pinballs so there is probably something major or costly with this machine. I think I'll pass on it.

if the display and sound are not working its probably something wrong with the CPU board, possibly the DMD board behind the DMD also... this is a white star machine so there should be plenty of documentation...
