I'm trying to get my Golden Tee Complete working. I power it up, it goes through the file system checks, then reboots/repeats.

Something obvious I should be looking for?

If it helps, it passes the file system checks, then says it detected the modem, then a reboot.

The startup diagnostics all pass with the exception of the card reader test (doesn't have one), and the modem dial tone.

i fixed my pga team challenge i got for superauctions

and i had the reader connected wrong and it wouldnt fully boot, it would reset because it thought there was an error

my suggestion is get a reader connected

Just tried 2 more boards with the same watchdog reset, tried a different power supply same thing, swapped in another HD but it turns out the other drive was bad. No reset though with the other drive plugged in.

The only common item with the resets seems to be the HD, going to try a different drive to see what happens.

I found a few references saying I can ignore the card reader error if I don't have one installed.

i think i had that same issue with an 05 gt, (not complete), ended up being the hard drive, just wasnt compatible er something

Well the good thing that has come out of all this is that now I have 2 GT complete boards, I'll have to make an image of the new HD when I get it rather than getting 2 drives.

Yeah that's pretty common on these, when the hard drive starts dying it does what yours does. Also sometimes it's the power supply, the power supply in these is a BEAST, very strong and if it's dying or a wimpy one it'll reset as well.

Usually, if the game does exactly what yours is doing, it's the hard drive. If it'll boot, and then reset, it's usually the power supply.

You'll notice it'll do the same thing if you just turn it on with no hard drive.

Yep, sure enough, new drive and it worked perfectly.

I tested my other board as well and it works with that drive, so I just need to figure out how to create a .chd or something to dupe it and I'll have one set to sell!

I might be interested to take the other board off your hands when you get it done and the price is right.Let me know .PEACE!!!!

check your power supply voltages before buying any more hard drives.

Mine was getting a drop in power some time after booting up. I don't know enough to guarantee anything, but my guess is it's the power supply.
