I just picked up Golden Tee 2k installed in a midway cab. It has a 25" monitor which works good. Except the horizontal alignment is off. I can move the horizontal image all the way up and i will have a black bar at the top. The only way to overcome this is to oversize the horizontal image, thus cutting some of the image off at the bottom. I haven't looked to see what type of monitor it is, I thought this could be an issue not dependent on monitor type. If thats not the case, let me know and I will find out the monitor type... Any suggestions appreciated...

First thing I always do is cap my monitors. Costs about 7 bucks for a K7000 kit, which I am sure is what you have in there. As I don't have it in front of me, I can't be 100% certain, so post a pic of the back, someone will identify it, you'll know which cap kit to get, and you can go from there. You will then have a better platform to start from when dialing in the image on the screen.

I have not even came close to attempting a cap job. How difficult is it. Capaciters scare me... ha.

I figured you'd say that, but if you are getting into collecting or owning arcade games, it is one of the first 'TECH' type things you should learn. 1/4 inch hex driver, Soldering iron, discharging tool, caps, solder, cap map, internet. That's all you need. You may be able to adjust this black bar out of your screen, which would be easier than capping it, but learning to cap a monitor now will benefit you in the future. 25 inch K-7000's are a breeze.

Well, I have all this except a discharging tool. I have never dealt with caps in any way. Guess it is time I learn. Thanks!
