I just picked up a Golden Tee Fore! Complete and from what I've read you need to have the hard drive and pcb as a pair for it to work. Since IT no longer supports this model is it safe to say that if the hard drive craps out I am SOL? If so, how do I create a backup of the hard drive, and also how do I restore it to a new hard drive?

you can still buy replacement GT fore complete HDD's on ebay. The harddrive needs to have the same version of game on it (ie. GT fore 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, or fore complete) the board is not paired to a certain board. Just the HDD needs to match what version of security chip you have on the board. So if you have a Complete board then any GT fore complete HHD or flash drive will work.

I use easeus disk clone, Makes a perfect backup. I have backed up all my IT games (lawn darts, bags, golden tee 2014, silver strike live, and power putt) I haven't converted to CF yet, but im thinking about it.
