Golden Tee FORE! Owners...

Not a bad price. I wonder if he has cracked the security chip encryption and that is how he can do it. I know there are no new kits for him to upgrade with.

Im golden tee stupid. Can someone please tell me what i can do with something like this. I want a golden tee setup but there are so many options out there that i dont know what to do.

I think its a great price, considering Complete kits still sell for about $400+ shipping.

I emailed him. I have a whole stack of GT 2005 Live redboards and hard drives.

I've got one board/hd (GT Fore 2003 Red) on the way to him already, I will let everyone know how it goes.

Cool. If it comes back to you w/ the same security chip, then he has found a way to crack to hard drive to ignore the chip, I would think.

That would be sweet.

I got the email that mine was upgraded and ready to ship - I should have it back mid week and will let you all know.

Looks like someone finally cracked the security encryption.

Definitely post later. If the security chip is the same as when it left you, try the new HD on one of your other boards to verify. If that works we know you have a decrypted HD.

I didnt have enough foresight to make note of the security chip before I sent it out. I also dont have another Complete board if that's what you mean..... I will make a note on the next set I send out

There is a way to tell what the chip is. Like the last # in the serial of the chip should be a 4 if your board was a 2004 originally, etc. And, what I mean about the HD is try it on another GT game that is NOT a Complete and see if it boots as a complete. If it does than we know this guy has been able to remove the encryption and the security chip is no longer an issue.

Got ya - will do... and at that point need to find a drive duplicator :)
